Central Catholic to Present a Variety of Summer Enrichment Courses and Sports Camps

Central Catholic High School will present a variety of exciting summer enrichment courses, sports camps for all ages, and academic credit courses.  Summer courses include College Admission Game Plan and O.G.T. Remediation, as well as regular credit courses in math, history, science, English, physical education and health, religion, and fine arts.

Summer enrichment programs include a Chinese workshop taught by a teacher from China and the University of Toledo Confucius Institute, a laptop class to introduce students to technology and how it is integrated into daily life, an Egyptian art workshop, and a dance workshop.

Irish summer sports camps include Jim Welling’s basketball camp for boys in grades 4 to 9 that is scheduled for June 18 to 21.  The Fighting Irish football camp, led by Coach Greg Dempsey, runs from July 9 to 11 and is open to incoming students in grades 3 to 9.  Camps for baseball, boys’ and girls’ soccer, girls’ basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and dance are also being offered.
